    Hi Folks

Not sure if this is in the right section but anyhow .

I'm looking for a recommendation for a 12" 8 ohm Powerful bass speaker for a cab im putting together to gig with . ideally about 200 watts... Its getting harder and harder driving into Dublin city with my Bass rig to do gigs (re parking etc) so im building a portable one i can take on the bus/luas on a trolly .

    Cheers .

Any of the modern neo speakers are pretty lightand powerfull like the markbass,TC electronics, hartke stuff depends on yourbudget, would 4 ohm not be better to get full power or are you going for 8 ohmto add a second cab? I sold my ashdown abm 4 x 10 cab caus it was a pain to lugaround and bought an ashdown abm 2x10 and mini 15,when i have a practice I canbring the little 15 its handy and 300 watts and when i play a bigger gig ivertically stack the 2x10 on the 15 so i have a mini stack that fits in bootand the whole 4 ohm 575 watts out of the head

    Ebs neo 112
Weighs nothing really plenty Loud for me with ashdown head. And I can run a second cab if required.

    Hello,

    Do you have a pre-built Cabinet for a Speaker(Driver)
Is it the loud speaker/Driver you need to purchase/

Check out Watford valves/speakers as a tip

    Good luck
