What are peoples opinions of S&T?

I've seen an AR57 from Echo1 on a few sites and the OEM for it is S&T and i'm wondering if its going to be something worthwhile looking at or a complete disaster. Its a relatively new gun and reviews seem favorable from what I have seen but really want some hands on experience.

I think they make a couple of MP5 variants but don't know much else about them. Looking on the net there seems to be mixed reviews but mostly from the states with their higher fps and therefore more stress on the gearboxes and its mostly from people who haven't owned one - just folks spouting off as usual without any actual knowledge.

    Thanks

The only S&T that I have worked on is the Mosin Nagant Gas bolt action rifle

The exterior finish of both the stock and the bolt/barrel assembly was superb and the material used was good but the material used for the trigger components was mainly cast metal and looked to be not the best of quality either
If you were a collector/plinker then you should be OK but I could not see it standing up to the rough and tumble of your everyday skirmish

The only other S&T that I have handled is their Tavor and while it looked good the body felt very flexible and when I opened the rear of the body to have a look at the gearbox I was less than impressed by the material that the gearbox shell was made from

Hope this is a some use to you

Thanks - I'll prob give it a miss then in that case. Reviews in general don't seem to be great but were from the states so wanted a local opinion

The review section is just that a section for asking and giving ones experiences/opinions of various Airsoft devices, it is not a question and answers section as to just why my AEG is not feeding/working properly

If you have a problem with an Airsoft device then please feel free to start a thread in either Technical or Questions depending on which you think best suits your needs
