There's a bird shop on the Crumlin Road. Bird zoo or something it's called. They specialise in parrots, I think.

I know someone with an African Gray. Hilarious stuff when they start talking and catching on.

I think the shop is called Sign of the Dove. It's on keeper road in Crumlin.

I'd say it's Birdjungle on the Crumlin Road. They get in parrots at around 4 weeks old and hand rear them and sell them at I think about 12-14 weeks. I think the likes of baby Blue & Gold Macaws are something like €750 while young African Grey's are €900. Was looking into the same thing myself.

Op have you had experience with parrots before? Macaws would not be recommended as first parrots. They are highly intelligent and require a loy of time to keep them happy. They can develop problems easy if they are not kept right.
