Non-advertised JobBridge

    Is it possible to do a JobBridge with a company who hasn't advertised for a place on the Jobbridge website?

    As in, if I got in touch with a company and asked could they take me on as an intern, would I have to wait until they advertised a post on the site or can they just take me on (provided they're eligible and have the need for an intern, etc...)?

    I'm not asking if I am eligible – I am.

    I'm asking if it's possible to get in touch with a company and ask if they would take you on as an intern if they weren't currently advertising a position on the Jobbridge website (and assuming they are eligible too).

    Yes, is the short answer.

    You could ask them for sure and they may agree to set up a job bridge position.

    The only thing I am not sure about is that the position still may have to be advertised and you might have to apply and do an interview.

    Any concrete conclusion on this?
    "Yes is the short answer" isnt much help;

    As far as I can tell, you get in touch with the company and get them to set up an internship that would suit you + them. They set it up and make it live on the JB site, you apply, and then they select you, closing the application on the JB site.

    Guess the only worry is that someone more qualified applies for the job in the short time that it's up!

    Well tell us what help you need then!!!

    Yes is the answer to your original question, and your second one.

    Not sure what else you're looking for, TBH.
