I have been trying to take in "Thinker Tailor Soldier Spy" the latest version. Why do they fook up so much in trying to tell the story. Or is there a story there at all.

Try the BBC mini Series from the 80's.

Of course there is. I didn't think it was so hard to follow?

The only way to watch it, saw the film but it's too much to fit into a film. Alec Guinness is excellent in it. If you don't want to buy it then it might be in your local library.

    Read the books instead.

I like films, if I wanted to read a book I would do so. I am talking about the inability of the Brits to make a film about the traitors in their mist some years ago,by making there films so complicated.

Excellent film, brilliant cast. Made perfectly fine sense too. You have to pay attention, that's all.

The sort of film you put head phones on, and lock the wife out of the room.

    It's all there on Youtube.

I came at the 1979 BBC adaptation having seen the Gary Oldman film and really liked the feel of it. With Alec Guinness, Ian Richardson, Patrick Stewart & Ian Bannen, it's little wonder it's such an enjoyable watch.

No surprise that Guinness in particular is superb as Smiley.
