    Hi guys,

    I'm kind of losing the plot. I'm trying to rent a room in Dublin and my budget was originally 320-350. I was hoping for the D1/D3/D7 area but soon found my preferences meant very little. I broadened my preferences to anywhere around town and upped by budget to 450.

    I'm just going crazy.. Most ads on daft aren't providing numbers and by the time the OP of the ad reads the email the place is gone. I'm not interested in sharing a room and really want a double room.. Too bad some ads see single rooms as double rooms.. I'm so disheartened and commuting 4 hours a day at the minute.

    Any advice here??

    Look a bit further out but along DART/Commuter Rail/Luas lines maybe.

    there are definitely places close to town for 400-450

    move faster.
    set up daft email alerts
    dress smart at viewing
    bring references & cash deposit
    get there early.
