Natural Stone Shower Tray

Hi all. In the very early stages of doing an extension on our home.

I am doing a little bit of research into natural stone shower trays for 2 upstairs showers.
I would like them flush with ,and matching the floor tiles we get - to achieve a 'wet room' look- without the risk of leaks/without the huge price hopefully

I wondered would a tile supplier supply this or should I go to a stone mason? Has anyone done this before and how did it turn out?
    Was it expensive?
Any information or advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

I would think it wouldn't be much cheaper than tanking the room properly and making it into a wetroom.
You can get flush mounted shower trays not in stone but enamelled steel which are strong and don't crack around the plughole like fibreglass or plastic.
Have a look at the Schluter website for ideas?
