I have a medion E7214 and bought a replacement battery off ebay but only lasted six months. Needless to say seller is taking his time to resolve, checked the other half dozen or so battery sellers and their neg rating is similar. The only place I have come across is a crowd that ships from the UK but want €82 for the privilege.

Anywhere in Dublin/Ireland that repair laptop battiers and give a year guarantee?

You can't repair a laptop battery. The manufacturer is the only place you will get an original battery, everything else will be the same quality as eBay.

Is that a bad thing, stupid question?

Need a Lenovo battery and have 2 places for around €35.

My battery is 11.1v and 4.3Ah, the replacement is 10.8v and 4.8Ah is that a problem?

The voltage being different definitely, you could fry the motherboard meaning you will own an expensive paperweight.
