    Hi there,
Looking for a 5k (roughly) run though mud etc that a family could do together - all reasonably fit and could run 5k handily enough.Really hope it's ok to post this here....thanks!

If you're near the south east there's the Valentine's Muckfest in Tullow on Feb 15. Look for it on FB.

Kill GAA co.Waterford have Dirt Track Challenge 6k next Sunday 11.30 start. They are running it on 3 Sunday mornings with next wk being the final one. I did it today run over mixed terrain i.e country paths, woods, fields, bog, gravel path and short bit on road. There is also a water jump and the food after was worth getting dirty for. It is reasonable as I paid €6 and my teenage sons €3. If you are near here it worth trying

Get into some cross country running. Plenty of mucky courses around, failing that I can recommend Runamuck in March at Johnstown Bridge, Kildare.
