    Hi!
I was just wondering what are the prospects of going into radio presenting or TV reporting? Am I being a bit too ambitious or are you more likely to get careers in other jobs? And what kind of jobs?
    Thanks :)

    Sup,
As with any niche or arts orientated career, connections really help.
If you've no connections you can try contact individual production companies looking for work experience and maybe after a time something might come of it. I would expect print Journalism would be as difficult.
I know a few former grads who did well in front of the camera, but its a very very low percentage.
I was more interested in how media works, the analysis rather than being a presenter.
I chose Communications because it is pretty broad and lends itself to many areas. Try look at what you enjoy and see if there are any related fields to work in so you can keep the rent paid while working towards any other goal.
Anyone I know who refused to diversify had to work in service for long periods. Why not work a decent job, (if you can find one) in a similar industry while waiting on your break?
