UPC offering free 120mb upgrade

    Does anyone know if this is still 'unlimited'? I wouldn't put it past them tricking customers into a 12 month contract with higher speeds but bandwidth caps!

    Also, it says you go onto 50mb then 120mb in March. Do they mean the 50mb kicks in almost instantly, and you have to wait for the new router before you can get 120mb?

    Probably better off asking these questions to the UPC reps directly in the "talk to: UPC" thread.

    However, I believe you wont see any increase in speed until you get the new modem. What I took from your post is you're on 30Mb?

    This change will involve signing a new 12 month contract and I believe it's unlimited. 50Mb base bundle is the only limited package.

    But again, get in contact with UPC directly on boards.
