aer lingus have cancelled loads of uk and some european flights tomorrow due to weather alerts. My guess other airlines will be affected too.

So if you are flying tomorrow, make a back up plan in case of cancellation, its can take the stress out of the cancellations.

Before people starting comparing to Ryanair, the majority of the Aer Lingus flights cancelled are operated by Aer Arann with ATR aircraft and can't operate in conditions the same as jet aircraft.

Even if comparing with Ryanair, their fleet is huge compared to Lingus - they have huge flexibility because of this.

Check does the incoming flight get in.

Would that be a guarantee of other flights getting out? It may be a promising sign, but with the way Ryanair operate they could see fit to have that aircraft going elsewhere in the grand scheme of things.

I've been the victim of Ryanair's shenanigans recently. I'd best not speak of it.

Is it 5.30 pm? - if so I'd say you'd get going alright. If it's 5.30 am - watch and see does the incoming land in Shannon tonight.

Can't believe it, Met Eireann have issued an orange warning for high winds along the coasts tonight and tomorrow morning. And of course I'm flying to Manchester tomorrow at 6:30am with Aer Lingus. If the flight is cancelled I'll be devastated. If Ryanair are flying then I would even pay the €150 or whatever it would be at this late stage to fly with them. Can't believe this is happening :(:(

    You're alive - check.

You have your sight - check.

You have a computer - check

You have a bit of money - check.

Now things aren't so bad eh?

P.S. Ryanair will probably fly with minor delays.
