    Just found an interesting Court record from March 1879 for my gtgt-grandfather Robert Cathcart that I had to share.

    The complaint/summons reads "Defendant by owner of a Road Locomotive Engine propelled by Steam on the Public Road at Coolock 7.30 on the 13th Inst. without having two lights fixed on front"

    Looks like he was fined 20s + costs - sounds like a lot of money for 1879!
