Craft Beer Pubs in Limerick City

What's a good go-to pub in Limerick City for the craft beer minded punter? I've moved down here recently and have gotten very used to spots like the Bierhaus and The Salt House in Galway but I'm not finding anything equivalent down here in Limerick.

I've been round to a few of the the pubs, like Nancy Blakes and the Cobblestone and they all seem to have one or two internationals or craft beers on tap e.g. Leffe & O'Haras but that's it. I've been along to the Crafty Fox as well which is a good spot but I've never been in when they actually had all their draught beers available. There are always at least two out of stock. They're a good spot but I get the impression they're starting up and don't seem to have a very broad range overall, or not that much in the way of the more unusual stuff. I really enjoyed the sort of pubs that had guest beers for the week or two. It kept you coming back. I haven't managed to find any pub doing this in Limerick so far. Any pointers for me?

Never heard of anything like this, but any craft beer in Limerick at all seems very new, so early days. I hear there's a couple of White Gypsy taps at The Glen Tavern on Glentworth Street.

I've heard from several people that The Blind Pig is a decent spot for craft beers. I've not been in myself so don't know how true that is however.

Yup, heard about The Blind Pig myself so I'm hoping to call in one of the days soon!

Surely with UL in the vicinity there'd be a good few hipsters around Limerick?

Could this be a business opportunity for some budding entrepreneur?

The Blind Pig is the safest bet. They change things up on the taps every few months. Decent range of bottles too, and the occasional cask.

The Crafty Fox are trying hard too. Wide variety of bottles. Some very nice stuff on tap. They were out of Galway Hooker and Blue Moon last week, but the latter is no loss.

UL have a Beer Club on Mondays, but the campus is a few miles away from the city centre. Awkward if you're drinking!

Crafty Fox is best of the lot, we were in Blind Pig once, up their own arse in there, bad service and weird crowd/music. Much preferred Crafty Fox.

Another plus one for the Crafty Fox. They have Metalman on tap there which is great stuff.
