    A mate recommended them to me as he had a set of road wheels built up and he was happy with them..

    However like any cheap Chinese rim you will suffer from inconsistent quality and warranty delays in case of an issue...

    I found this pic of one of there rims on a mtb which suffered catastrophic failure..

    That's not true. They are many reputable sellers out there who have a proven record of consistent quality and no issue with warranty. http://www.wheelsfar.com/ is a prime example of that.
