What's the best tasting milk available?

What I am looking for really is a nice high fat content milk, the closer to cream the better.

According to this old thread, M&S may sell Jersey milk. That milk has quite a high fat content.

My Nan used to feed me jersey milk as a child to fatten me up. (She needn't have bothered - all I needed was time. :o)

Sounds like good advice to me, sounds obvious but many might not have copped it.

I came across the milk from Adare Farm at their shop at the Milk Market in Limerick, but it's sold in Dunnes and other outlets as well. It's available in glass bottles as well. Very creamy in my opinion, as it is non-homogenised. I have no idea what the fat content is tho.

This sounds good, will have to keep an eye out.

As to putting cream in it. Fair enough maybe it would taste nice but I couldn't be bothered. I'm not looking for a recipe for creamy milk, I am looking for creamy milk that I can buy ready to drink.

The Adare Farm milk is incredible! I got it at Bloom last year but I've seen it in my local Superquinn/Value recently!

Hi redkid, welcome to the Food & Drink forums. We generally ask that people don't bump threads that are older than 6 months, as we assume that the original poster has found the answer to their query at that point. If you would like to start a new thread, please feel free.

    All the best,
