That's some monstrous computer they have there, the one which transfers millions of salaries in to millions of accounts at precisely midnight on payday ...

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

I think this is the answer to everyone's questions, my wages were in slightly later on tuesday as well.

SEPA has been introduced. Great idea but God forbid, both Companies and Banks have had nearly a year to prepare for this change. However in typical Irish style, there are a few Last-Minute-Mickeys who have left it too late at the expense of the ordinary worker.

Usually fixed within 12 hrs so hopefully you'll not be left for too long OP.

SEPA, great idea, but now you can get a payment and have no idea who its from, my wages comes in under the name "the directors" where as before it was the name of the business and I had a payment made from another person and it was just a list of numbers.

I've had a few sepa transfers without any issues. Its just a pain it's this month its delayed cus no wages mean no petrol for work :-/. Its always gone In around 10pm the thursday night before

Mine went early for some unknown reason.

I do the payroll and lodged the wages today from AIB, I'm with Permanent TSB and they never show in my account until the next day but were there this evening.

I've that much money in the bank I'd barely notice whether my wages were paid in or not..

That's down to the person doing the payroll to change that on their online banking account. They may not even realise it's changed, until they see it on their own accounts obviously. Our online banking looked very different and I had to wait to check my own account to make sure the transaction and creditors name were correct.

TSB has been like this for the last 2 weeks. My wages would always be in around 10pm on a Wednesday night. For the last 2 weeks it's taken until around 4am on Thursday morning.

Mine were in early this month too. Usually after midnight on Tuesday, but it was Tuesday evening this month.

i think this was a mixture between SEPA and a tech issue at PTSB, I couldn't log into my open24 account last night but this morning its all good and the wages are there..

My last wage payment was not in the account until around 11AM. It's was to do with the SEPA arrangements.
