Query Irish vehicle registry for numbers?

Hi all,

I was talking to a few lads from a UK car forum and they have a site that queries the UK DVLA telling them exactly how many of a certain car there are in the UK, it also give results for each year, so you can tell how many of that model were scrapped or written off....

My question is, do we have anything similar here?

I came across something years ago, on our own Car tax/Motor tax/ Road tax (take your pick) website if memory serves me right. It gave the numbers of cars of any particular make on the roads currently. Might be worth a look see?

I managed to find stats on beepbeep using SIMI's system...

Unfortunately it only goes back as far as 2007... i wanted to see 2006 and 2007 to get an idea of how many MPS 6's were registered in Ireland..

tht only gives registrations. I think what the OP wants is what they have in the UK; a resource that will tell you how many of a model are still on the road
