I see Sky are about to update their EPG again.

Link is working. It looks like a good idea imo.
I use on demand & it would certainly make life easier if you could immediately see the different viewing options for a program.

Interesting. As an aside, did anyone else's HD box update yesterday or the day before?

Mine did, though I don't see any change (just a box to say software was updated or something). It's an older Pace Sky+HD box, which has got quite sluggish since the update previous.

Got update few day ago on sky box have other channels on blue button using a granada card recording programs fine live pause is not working

Press services, settings and then system details.

Just bumping this. Got the new update and EPG overnight. Couldnt find any other thread discussing it.

Anyone else get it?

If your interested R009.066.77.03P is still rolling out to DRX890/895 boxes.

Pace & Samsung boxes started to be updated last night to R009.066.82.00P.

DRX780 boxes have yet to be updated.

R009 is not yet on the DR stream for any box so don't bother trying to force update.

Yup, my Pace HD box updated last night.

Not sure if it's just me, but it seems slightly more responsive in the menus. Generally, I think my Pace is quite slow, presumably low powered compared to the newer Sky/Amstrad boxes.

Improved alright. My Pace box is prob 5 years years old by now and was slow as *-+'@, much improved response time now.

Hoping it would **** the bed but no such luck year after year

For me it's still press Services, then 0, 0, 1, Select. Then go right to the RF Out tab.

It's a new feature, the backup button when watching live tv will take you to the current channel in the TVGuide.

The number of button presses required changes varies depending on if there a red bbutton icon on screen.

My box was updated few days ago & since yesterday sky+ features are not working properly as in no live pause or rewind functions for example. Both the buttons on the box & remote are not responding. Anyone else noticing this ?

Are you getting an on screen message? If not it sounds like a remote issue. Try resetting the remote (remove the batteries, hold down select for 30 seconds, then insert batteries again)

not the remote, have changed the batteries but buttons on box are not responding properly either

Try powering the box off at the power supply and let it reboot. I havent come across the issue before but a reboot fixes most issues.

R009 is on the DR stream for DRX890, 895 and 595 boxes.

So if you have one of those and haven't been updated yet you can now force update your box.

Go to SETTINGS > SYSTEM DETAILS and look at the version number.
If it starts with:

4f31 then it's either a 890 or 895
4f70 then it's a 595

I just bought a 2nd hand Sky HD Multiroom box DRX595, but the EPG layout is an old version, like (old)...

Shouldn't it look more like this (newer)...

Yes the DRX595 has had the 2012 look epg for a while now, so it should atleast look like the second picture if it was being used frequenly.

However if you perform a forced update on that box you will now get the 2014 look epg like the Sky+HD boxes have, but it wont include the home screen.

My DRX780 got the update (which surprised me as it's normally the last 780 box ever to get it weeks after the rollout is posted here ...). Any how the box is quicker for sure but the font and EPG is harder to read for my aging eyes... esp. the program description at the top. If they just increased the font size....
