Sky amending my Direct Debit?

    Just checked my online banking and it appears I have a new Direct Debit set up.

    Previously my payments to Sky were paid to SKY SUBSCRIBERS SERVICES LTD. Their last payment was received back in Jan.

    Now It appears I have a new direct debit set up for SKY DIGITAL, they are to withdraw money from me in Feb.

    Obviously it looks like a change of name, but my online banking is showing it as a new DD, can Sky amend this without my authority? I would have thought it at least courtesy to inform customers about the change at least!

    Anyone else noticed this?
