This is crazy!!!! PC is killing my broadband..!!?

    I haven't a clue what's going on here. I'm getting about 3 mbps through my eircom router but as soon as I switch on the pc it drops to about 0.2 mbps.
    Please someone tell me wtf is going on..

    Might be a virus or some process gone mad on your PC.

    Try this..
    open task manager on your PC
    Click "Processes" tab
    View / "Select Columns"
    Check "I/O Read Bytes" and "I/O write Bytes"
    Click OK
    Sort by Read see if anything odd with huge value compared with everything else
    Sort by Read see if anything odd with huge value compared with everything else
