We're completely ruling Aguero out then?

I reckon even if he's ok, they won't risk him with the options they have.

Esp with Pellegrini bemoaning having played him for 90 in the FA Cup as a possible reason for this injury.

I fear it will be cotton wool time with Barca on the horizon.

This is just as big a game IMO.

True, as a Liverpool fan it's probably just as big as our game with Everton during the week. Two teams very close to each other in the table going for the same thing (our game - 4th, their game - title)

That said, whether or not Pellegrini sees this game as less, more or similar importance as the CL clash I think that given it's their next game it might be just too soon to start Aguero against Chelsea. In other words the timing of the fixture will probably be a bigger factor than then importance in this case when deciding whether or not to start him. Too much too soon imo.

    Suarez for captain anyway :)

Midweek I thought I'd give the captaincy to somebody else and got bitten.
    So back to Suarez.

After last week's gamble failed it's back to the safe option of Suarez

To keep this interesting, should we start up a Vice Captain Poll?

    Whats the point?

There's really no obvious choices this week.

United have a decent fixture, but I wouldn't be positive on either Roo or RVP getting a full 90 this week. They're both just back from injury, and Moyes will want to be careful with them. More than likely we'll see similar to last week with subbing off for the other. If there was anyone I'd consider it would be Mata. Badly needs game time and will definitely play close to a full 90.

Chelsea and City you're best to stay away from. Very unpredictable game.

Arsenal with a good fixture. Shame their striker sucks and their midfield is banjaxed.

    When in doubt, captain Suarez....

Giroud as a differential. Being a Liverpool fan will soften the blow if Luis runs wild again. Given he knows Lugano (and so his many weaknesses) so well, every chance that could happen.

Wouldn't be saying oops yet! Moyes gone all out attacking with that substitution he made.

    United will score.
