Buying Medication Online

Right, here's one that's been bugging me for some time. I've often heard of people buying there medication online - prescription or otherwise - and getting it for a far cheaper price.

Fair enough I've no real problem with that - My issue is that what is the legal status of this and how well is it regulated. It seems a bit of a minefield - you could be buying painkillers or something (legitimately!!!) but then end up being in trouble as you've bought something with considerable street value..... also, in all reality, do you really know what you're buying off these lads???

Has anyone ever done it?? If its safe and it works out cheaper it might be a viable alternative..

Afaik it is illegal to send any kind of medicines through the post which rules out all/most online purchases.

    Its illegal and unsafe .

If you are looking for cheaper medicine , this alternative looks good ,
They gave me a quotation for medication and their prices will not be beaten .

Only drawback is that you have to attend pharmacy in person in Dublin. :

I've been ordering medicines from the UK for about 4 years. I only buy items that are freely available over the counter in the UK, ie paracetamol, teething gel, etc.

Mostly brand names, sometimes generics such as the cones from Clonmel healthcare.

I have never had a package confiscated but I have had 2 envelopes opened but passed.

A friend had a pack confiscated, it had a pack mediliief in it, a generic form or solpadeine, she lost the whole order.

I have never ordered a prescription drug.

Now that more generics are available here, I have stopped ordering.

Yeah I'm in agreement with you.... there's a lot of generic drugs available so there's no point in risking it online for something that can be bought relatively cheap.
