How many times have you travelled back in time to save someone you loved?

I have never done this. Although last night I dreamt I went back to when I was 15 and played a GAA match with Harry Potter. I lorded it around midfield. Woke up with the smell of grass and a newspaper picture of that very game stuck to my forehead. Did it actually happen... I believe it did.

Although I do know a Harry Porter that was a midfielder for Shamrock Gaels but he was shíte so hardly ever was picked for the main team. The manager always used to say "Bring your boots Harry, sure someone will use them".

Ron was a solid half back in his day though.

No wonder you woke up face-down on the ground. That was actually a Quidditch match.

If you travelled back in time you would already know you did before you came back from the future to the past, which was now the past, or maybe the future but not as forward in the future as when you went back.

Could you imagine Marty Morrissey commenting on Harry Potter playing hurling.....'oh a magic score from the young wizard'....
'oh...it's like he has a wand in his hand'...or 'wonderful wizardry again from Potter'

Really I should travel back and delete this post, so people would wonder who you're replying to.

I've only done this a couple of times due to the risk of creating a time paradox, the result of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space-time continuum and destroy the entire universe.

    Granted, that's the worse-case scenario.

The disruption might in fact be very localised, limited merely to our own galaxy.

If you traveled back to a time over 4 years your actions could maybe theoretically have had some effect on Alpha Centuri.

Granted the effects would be minute, even if it was huge for us, like say the planet just blew up. Huge thing for us but 4.3 light years away the measurement would be next to nothing, however there would still be some changes for instance the radio waves eminating from earth would have just stopped. and while this may sound tiny (and it probably is) there is a chance that there was an alien race preparing to travel to earth to investigate the signal but now whats the point.

So about all you could maybe do would be go back in time and destroy Mr Blobby, that way the faces of Noel Edmunds and Mr Blobby are no longer spreading their horror through the universe and may lead to aliens not being as weirded out and coming in peace instead of destruction.
