Sony Xperia J won't recognise headsets

    got the Sony Xperia J off the girlfriend for christmas (pretty late too the android party :pac: )

    at first I could use any headset in it
    then about 2 weeks ago it just stopped recongnising any headsets
    I've tried sony headsets, samsung and even my own turtlebeach ones
    and its just not accepting any

    is their anyway of fixing this problem with out bringing it back?
    I love the phone itself but I'd like too be able too listen too my music when I want :/

    anyone else have this problem?

    I tried googling it but got few results, most people experiencing it on other xperia phones but no solution
