Is it possible for a company to buy a car for someone in another EU member state?

Just say an employee works for an Irish registered company in another EU member state, can that company provide a company car for that employee in the other EU member state?

Yes. However, you will find it very difficult to get finance/leasing facilities. Company cars are treated differently in most continental European countries for personal taxation. In some cases, the taxes are so penal that it is much more efficient for the employee to provide their own car and revover costs from employer. You need to take country specific expert advice.
