Phone Call to Sky - Rant

    Hi All,

    Im just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and if so what outcome should I expect here? I posted this on their facebook page...

    To Whom it may concern. Last friday I called sky with a view to moving back to you for tv and broadband. After a half an hour on the phone to the sales guy (aaron) I told him under no circumstances was I agreeing to anything and before I could make a decision I needed to speak with my existing provider (UPC) to see what were my options for leaving my existing contract. I told Aaron this numerous times. He said fine I will call you back on tuesday (today). After the phone call I get an email saying welcome back to sky and that my new box was on the way...... after another half an hour on the phone trying to sort it out eventually it got escalated and it was sorted out. Today Aaron called me back and I asked him what was he playing at. I accepted his apology and told him that I would call sky back and let them know what I was doing. As soon as I got off the phone I get another welcome back to sky mail. If you want to waste my time like this then fine. You can send your tv box out and the engineer cause as soon as they call to the door and you can waste your time trying to sort out your own mess. I did call back your call center to be told I was going to wait at least 20 mins to speak to anyone... **** that I have better things to do.........

    anyone have anything similar happen?
