Hey guys, I'll link my specs, I really just want to know if there's anything that's direly in need of an upgrade in terms of gaming. I don't want to be up with the high-end curb, just a bit behind will do nicely for me :).

    Specs:
    • Processor: AMD FX 4100 quad core
    • 8gb of RAM
    • Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6670

    I am currently using two monitors: 1. 1360x768 2. 1280X1024.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :).

Any particular game giving you trouble or just having a look at options?

The 6670. The Fx4100 is competent enough in most games, you'll be fine with just an upgrade. R7 260x OC would be a nice 720p upgrade card for you here at 109 delivered.

Any plans to upgrade the monitors or are you happy with those resolutions?

Hey guys, I went ahead and purchased a R7 260x OC 2GB, however I'm not noticing any particular difference in quality, am I bottlenecking? If so, any solutions?

You should be getting a good boost, did you update your graphics drivers?

What game are you having issues with?

Well the new thief game, I'm barely getting over 19 fps when I run the benchmark mode. This is at very low settings.

That's the Unreal 3 engine. I can't imagine it being that stressful. It was designed to run on last gen consoles.

    What about drivers?

Well, how do I check my drivers?

I've checked that my drivers are up to date, any advice?

How did you check? Did you delete your old drivers and update to the new ones for your new card?

Download the latest drivers for your card from the AMD website. For W7 64 it's these ones here. Get the 14.2 beta driver.

    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%207%20-%2064

Download driver sweeper and delete any trace of your old drivers.

    Then install the new drivers.
