Does anyone know what the hours are like for this course? Are they mainly full days or some half days? Im considering going back to college to study this but need to weigh up my options for childcare

Well looking at the timetable it's 18 hours this semester for 1st years with Mondays and Fridays off.

Mondays and Fridays are off but one of those days will be your work placement and you are expected to be available 9 to 5 for the other 3 days. Don't forget about the work placement you will have to do for 6+ months starting in the summer.

First Year - college, Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday, pretty much 9-5, you are expected to do 8 hours work placement every week. This is generally unpaid and you must source this yourself. This can be done Friday, Saturday Sunday and Monday and can include late nights in pharmacy.
June - December - you are expected to do 104 x 8 hour days, and you are not in college. You organise this yourself and it can be in either a hospital or community pharmacy. Again, this is unpaid in a lot of places. How you work these days is up to you and tutor, some work full time and get it done, others take summer off and others carry days into second year.
Second year - back to college in January until May for 3 days but the workload isn't as heavy especially if you have your placement finished.

Hi, I am just enquiring about the pharmacy course and do you do communications such as presentations? Thanks.
