Hi all just looking for a bit advice or friendship.I've been living in south dublin from dundalk for last 2 and half years now,i moved here from work and have not had much of a social life while ive been here,my circle of friends pretty much broke up after college a few years before i moved so not much contacts around at all.I have a girlfriend, she still lives back in dundalk and only get to see each other at weekends.ive been living with roommates that move in and move out every year and do get on with them but just not kinda people i can relate to. people i work with are good 7 to 10 years older than me,just find it hard to find people who can hang out and call friend.
just a bit bout myself,im 25 year old male. into rock/metal music, bit nerdy, like playing video games, watching american comdies, watching animes,i do drink and like going to pubs.ive looked at websites like meet.ie and have tried joining clubs and such,i find there just not places for me.just really want find people like myself and around my own age.appreciate any ideas or suggestions thanks

For somebody who is into their music I would suggest attending more gigs as they are a good way of meeting people with similar interests. There are always Rock/Metal gigs in Dublin on Thurs/Fri/Sat nights, just check out the various bars online for gig listings etc. and get chatting to the people there.
