    Hello

So last year I was a first year student on a Level 6 Higher Cert course in DIT.
However in the summer I failed two modules and this year I'm repeating them Internally within the college and I'm not to sure if I'd like to come back on this programme for second year as I don't know if it's for me.
I'm thinking about reapplying for the CAO (before Saturday) and put down some courses in NCI and maybe ITB and a few others just to be sure.
If I was to apply and be accepted for a level 8 course would I be viable to pay full tuition fees for my first year on the course??

    Thanks

Yes, unfortunately you only get one shot at each year.

If you reapply, you will be liable to pay full fees for your first year. You won't have to pay full fees for 2nd or third year.

I hope that makes sense. Eveyone gets 1 shot at each year. So if you do one year of a course and drop out and then decide to do another course, you will have to pay full fees for the first year of that course.

Thanks for the quick reply I'll fill the CAO out anyway and see what happens :)

You've already answered the question but the fact that I'm on a level 6 course and applying for a level 8 that would have no barer in whether I'd have to pay full fees no??

    Thanks Again

I'm not a 100% sure about going from a Level 6 to a Level 8 course. I thought it was the same, but as I said, not 100% sure. Here's a link that might help you, but I just had a read through and I can't see anything about going from Level 6 to a level 8.

I'm trying to think who would be the best person/group to contact. You should probably call the college which you hope to attend and explain your situation. They will probably be able to sort you out.
