Last 3 wood I had was a TM a good few years ago. Didnt like it as it had a closed face. So looking for a 3 wood with neutral setup.

I want a second hand one so how many of you have a great 3 wood in their bag for a few years that they wouldn't change and would recommend.

The "Tour" versions of models tend to be not, or at least less closed. I use RBZ Tour and it's absolutely flush. It was a custom so I'm not sure if that had anything to so with it, but that's one option.

Another option, as I do with my hybrid, is go for an adjustable model and set it to "straight" or even "fade" if it suits your eye.

I was always very good with a 5W off the deck but poor with a 3W. I changed in Dec 2012 to a Ping G20 and I can't speak highly enough about it. Easy to hit, launches off the tightest lies and very straight.
My 5W was my go-to club when the rest of my game would crumble, now its the 3W.

    Use an RBZ Tour Spoon - strong 3 wood(13 degrees) - it's a weapon :-)

How does that work for you off the fairway :)

It's actually not too bad off the fairway.....most of the time ;)

I was looking for 3 wood with three criteria, easy to hit, neutral face and able to launch high off bare links fairways. The Nike VRS was my final choice (not the PRO version or convers model), straight face and launches very high even of bare lies and very forgiving.
The Fubuki shafts in them are very nice too.

I have been using a Cleveland launcher 15 degree the past year and it has been great. I'm selling it at the moment. Your more than welcome to take it for a few days to see how you get on with it

Titleist make great fairway metals, two I've used were the 906f and the 910f and the 906 would just shade it for me. But the 910 is still a really decent club.
