Bank statements for mortgage

    Hi

    When you guys applied for a mortgage, how many months bank statements were you asked for, if any?

    Would 3 months be sufficient?

    Usually they ask for 6 months current account, savings and credit card statements and 12 months statements on any short term borrowings or existing mortgage you may have.

    and If you are applying for the mortgage from your own bank, they can just pull the whole lot..
