Streaming from Laptop to Tv?

Hi,I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me what are my options for connecting my laptop to my tv with a wireless device?I'm looking at the ways I can watch youtube and catch up tv on the tv rather than the laptop

Most methods involve an wireless adapter (and correspond s/w). Some samples

Apple TV (Airplay & iTunes installed on laptop limited to itunes content when mirroring - but ATV has youtube/vimeo and some other content other than movies)

Thanks legrand,have started looking at getting a smart Blueray player instead,saw some in Tesco for around €100 so think they may be worth checking out?

Not familiar with the Tesco offering but personally would probably stick to known brands Sony, Panasonic and LG for smart BD players - not only decent UI but produce excellent picture quality and other features such as wireless capability.
