    Hi,

Thanks to the mods for letting me put this up.

The Ehlers Danlos Sydrome Awareness Ireland group have organized a conference all about EDS/Hypermobility and how's it's diagnosed, how to treat it, the various different types of it, how to manage pain in EDS patients and so on. EDS is a genetic disorder of collagen production that can cause wide-ranging effects from joint-hypermobility to fragile skin that can't be stitched, to gasteroparesis, easy bruising, delayed healing and frequent dislocations, among others.

Among the speakers will be one of the world leaders in Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Prof. Rodney Graham from University College London. there will be interactive Q&A sessions. It's being held in the Silver Springs Moran Hotel in Cork on the 7th of March and will run from 9am to 5pm.

We are trying to reach as many people who have the disorder as possible. We're hoping that this conference will be of benefit to sufferers and their families.

The ticket costs are being kept as low as possible and will include a light lunch and tea/coffee. Adult tickets are €20, student tickets are €15 and child tickets are €10. For those who would like to go and would have to travel to attend (or for those who just fancy a night in a hotel) there is a discounted room rate available for conference attendees.

If you would like to book tickets you can do so here:

If anyone would like any further information, please don't hesitate to ask or to contact me via PM.
