How long from acknowledgement - citizenship

Hi, I have so far received two letters from the ministry of justice. First one confirming the receipt of the application fee and the second one recently confirming that the application has been received and that it has gone to the 2nd stage.

How long does it usually take from this initial application acknowledgement for it to be accepted/processed? When do they usually send a letter asking for the lump sum payment?

Just a bit nervous cuz have to renew the Stamp 4 very soon and I really don't wanna pay another 300 euros to renew it. Thanks!

I have seen as quick as 4 months and as long as 2-3 years. From what I have heard expect 6 months to 1 year.

yup, it's about one year in most cases. Hard to believe, but I know of people who have waited five years for citizenship applications to be processed.

The process is much quicker these days, but you are still looking at up to a year.
