Aye. From checking out the map view, I see bits of land, but it's not the land you worry, it's the planning permission. And although you could probably do "buy on base* of getting planning permission", I'd say the landowner would probably charge you based on 2005 land price, because they could.

*there's another word that makes more sense, but it escapes me :/

Wow, some prices. Only the second one looks like it is not a council house, but it is a 78sqm 3 bed. That must be pretty much a record. The first one is absolutely dire.

Watch out for flooding. Watch out for many people swarming around on match day at Bath Ave, your choice to live there :)

I'm guessing the OP picked the location for a specific reason?

Im local to here, and dont want to move out of the area. I dont mind match days, and the flooding really only effects certain parts. Some of the prices are just crazy... really crazy... but what annoys me even more is the crazies that actually pay mad money for the houses :-O Anyways I will keep searching.. thanks everyone :-))

It's a lovely area, but in quite high demand over the past few years thanks to the arrival of Facebook, Google etc to the area. Prices have gone up accordingly due to this demand.
