He is very cute - love the white toes - such a sweet little face!
Lots of leg there - bit of lab or pointer maybe? Or maybe collie with that colouring?
Is he settling in? Whats he called?

He doesn't seem to have a name yet but we will work on it-roughly12 weeks old which I forgot to say in first post.

His tail has been docked for some reason (he was seized by a rescue) does that help with the guesswork?

Very settled, very chilled out little fella!

He looks like a lab, possibly a bit of lurcher in him?

He is lovely. I think he has big ears for the size of his head - maybe he will grow into them :) But the ears don't look rounded enough to me to be a spaniel.

    Im going lab x greyhound.

I thought lurcher when I saw the first pic.
But then the second pic, and the docked tail thing made me possibly change my mind... German pointer?
I'm plumping for German Pointer x Lab... a dropper pup!

He has the look of a border collie cross but he's big for 12 weeks (unless you're petite) His eyes are huge and with those lab ears I'm confused - I'd plum for black lab collie x - but whatever he is he's lovely first.

The "classic" dropper is a cross between a Pointer and a Setter, but in reality, any cross of Gundogs is referred to as a dropper. That said, I think it needs to be a cross between two different gundog groups: there are pointers, retrievers, setters, or spaniels. So a dropper is a cross between any two of these groups.

Id go with jim on the collie x springer. Feet are too small and nimble to be a big dog. Face has a springer look about it.

Hi anniehoo, sorry I wasn't getting notifications!!

Did I word my post badly? I was actually asking for a guess to help work it out as he was seized by a rescue so no one knows what he is!

Just back from the vet who said......pointer x!!!!
Though what the cross is she has no idea and won't for a while.

Well done to the clever clogs who saw the pointer!!!
