is there such a thing as this? i wear contacts 99% of the time, i do have 2 pairs of glasses, a tommy hilfiger pair and a calvin klein pair. both square type frames, neither really suit me. theyre about 3 years old, never really worn, like new.

    i bought them from specsavers.

is there such a thing as bringing them back, or to another optician or soemthing to try get money off a new pair of glasses? they cost me a small fortune when i bought them new!

    cheers.

No, to my knowledge no opticians will give you money off for old glasses. most opticians do take them to recycle for third world though.

OP you arent supposed to wear contacts 99% of the time. Most opticans generally say between 5/6 days a week max. There is no real market for second hand glasses in Ireland. But you could sell them online on adverts, donedeal, ebay etc
