    Can anyone recommend a good restaurant in carrick on shannon? something that does 4 course meals, steak chicken etc?

    Hmm, you're doing nothing to dispel the perception that people from Dublin don't really have a great grasp of the geography of the rest of Ireland!

    If you booked the Oarsman you wont go far wrong well worth the extra pennies it costs to have some flavour

    Chung's is probably the best chinese in town, but never tried phoenix, Indian food The Himalayan is by far the most authentic by a country mile and there is an Italian but never been.
