We are looking to start grass measuring for the first time this year.
Had been thinking of getting agrinet but have decided to use pasturebase from Teagasc for the moment. It is not an app but is web based. Prob not as good as agrinet but is free.

One more for winter feeding is Livestock feeding
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.livestockfeed&hl=en
Its only on Android, which is a pity, I emailed the developer who said he wouldn't be doing an iphone version as it was only done as a student project.

I’m currently doing a PhD in Moorpark and i work with people who developed Pasturebase and it is developing very fast and will be on a par with agrinet or kingswood in a short time. i would advise getting on the system now before it gets oversubscribed, contact your local teagasc adviser to be set up on the system.
