Any ideas, turbo sensors testing (diesel)

Something I want to rule out on a 08 115 Renault trafic. Theres a turbo pressure sensor and a pressure regulating solenoid.

Is there any way to test them to see if there within limits. Neither are cheap

I don`t know that model mate, but you could try to measure a resistance across the terminals of the sensor and a voltage reading too.

As for the solenoid, what are the symptoms? Does the actuator opens, closes?

Poor low down power and its not the egr or maf.

Doesn't do much untill 2k revs when it flys.

Afaik they run boost everywhere so im missing the low down boost id say.

Like if you drive a new one which is same model everything theres a huge lump of power im missing from 1-2k

This is the boost pressure solenoid. (Back of it.)

Makes noise. Popped off back and see whats in the picture.

If you turn it noise gets louder or quieter.

Does this adjust boost? Louder or quieter for more boost?

Fact that it seems to work I figure its not faulty

Connect a meter to it and take it for a short drive ?

Attached pic is only vaguely related (pressure sensor instead )

My pressure sensor is similar to that. What I just tryed is clamped the rubber line to it and took it for a short spin and it seemed to make no difference whatsoever

I had the exact same problem on my van couple of years ago same thing no boost on low revs.

I tried everything with it swapped mass air flow boost sensors anything i could think of nothing worked.

In the end a mate of mine got me a brand new mass air flow meter and it cured it even after i swapped one from another van and the other van was running perfectly.

Did you try cleaning the little pipe going onto the back of the EGR valve pull off the rubber pipe and make sure its clear.

Talking to a service manager and even though the egr is clean it my be stuck partially open. So might have to go back to that

    Turbo/intercooler etc leak? Fairly sure

I`d rather look at the exhaust manifold and flange, as you said its going like a pig on low boost, might leaks at low rpm but evens out at higher rpm.
