Hi, Can anyone tell me the difference between the Mazda 6 estate cam belt or chain? I understand they have changed the belt to a chain in 2010. Does the belt give trouble? Car I am looking at has 130,000 miles on it and had the belt changed at 100k

I'd say the change from belt to chain signifies the change from the 2 litre diesel to the 2.2. Go for the 2.2 diesel.

Chain. Make sure to get it checked. Poorly looked after ones are known to stretch.
