I'm just looking for advice if possible.

I have a ferroli tempra 24 boiler but have never been able to get hot water out of the taps. Central heating is fine. Does anyone know how to get both heating and water out of it? There's a symbol with a tap on the front of the boiler but the light below is off.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Sounds like you have an issue with external controls , eg a cylinder stat or motorised valve, or maybe the balancing valve is closed on the cylinder. If your rads are ok then the boiler is working. Tempra 24 isn't a combi so Dsnt heat hot water directly . They just use the same front control panel as the Modena which is the combi version. So the tap symbol on your boiler is not used.

    Thanks egass13.

It could well be the motorised valve that's never worked. May just be a case of replacing it?

    Cheers.
