how to vent a dryer

Hi sorry for the basic question,what is the best way to vent a non condensing dryer through an outside wall at the moment there is atype of louvered flap on the outside wall and the flexible hose connects directly to this.the result is a nasty draught i was just wondering if there is anything better available,thanks.
