Hi all, we hope to tile half and put laminate floor on half our kitchen on our house that is being built now. We're wondering how to get the transition between the two as smooth as possible. How thick should the laminate floor be>?thanks

i imagine you need to get a 12mm laminate at least, you also need to get the little divider things- sorry not sure of the name. Any good tiles shop should be good for advice

It depends on the thickness of the tiles :)

Bear in mind you also have to account for an underlay with the laminate floor. If it comes to it you can actually use the underlay to make up the difference.
