I got a notice in the post from my local welfare office to sign on 29th (Wednesday) at a Hatch number. There is no time stated on the card. Does this mean anytime or would it be specific?
    Have never signed on before

Yes but you only sign on once a month surely if someone was working they could work during their lunch break for just one day and sign a wee bit later?

That would be fraud and discussion of fraud is not allowed on this forum.

Different local offices have different signing times/arrangements. It is best to check with your office to ensure you are signing at the correct times.
