small van for income tax

    Can the money spent buying a small van be used as an expense for a farmer in his accounts ?

    he is not vat registered, if it makes any difference.

    any advice greatly appreciated

    I'd be surprised if it was allowed as an expense - Capital allowance over 8 years more than likely

    Yes Cost to buy van 12.5% over 8 years.
    Running cost in the year you incurred them
