Video not playing on Samsung trend

Hi, looking for info. When I video something from the phone itself it saves as in MP4 format and I'm able to playback from the folder. But when I copy a clip form my PC (originally shot from a gopro camera) to the same folder and in MP4 format, only the audio plays. I can't get the picture. Is there anyway around this or…
