Travel agents - tailor made holidays

    Does anybody know if travel agents do tailor made holidays? If in general they don't, do you know anywhere that does?

    Myself and the OH have very specific travel plans that'd we'd like help with.

    Hi,

    Have you heard of Travel Counsellors. A friend recently mentioned them to my wife and recommended them based on their experience. I believe that the travel counsellor they used was Laura Beirne-Gormley. I have no connection to them and have not used them myself, so cannot give first hand views on them. Mrs JT and myself are off to Vietnam & Cambodia shortly and it has taken us a lot of time & effort to put the itinerary together. I wish I had know about this company beforehand as it might have saved me a lot of time spent researching!

    A friend recommended the company mentioned above to me too. She was very pleased with the service she got.
    I don't know which counsellor she used, but I'm thinking myself of getting them to look something up for me in a 'here's my dates, that's how much I can spend, see what you can find' sort of way.

    Just as an update on this, I have since used a travel counsellor to book a holiday for my mother in October. It all went very smoothly and comparing the price we got to online travel agents and shops, I think we got a good deal. I would recommend them as a service.
